How your Satellite phone is packaged

Standard Hire Kit

The satellite phone and accessories are 
all packaged into a small sturdy genuine 
Pelican Case. These are a robust dust, 
water and shock resistant,case,
measuring 28cm x 25cm x 13cm.
The cases are brightly coloured to assist 
with identification in the case of an 
emergency situation.

Bush Walkers/Adventurers Kit

 If you have limited space and weight is
a major consideration, then our Bush
Walkers/Adventurers Kit may be just
what you require.
This kit is designed for those such as
hikers, climbers or fishermen who
want the security of emergency contact,  
but have space/wieght restrictions and are
unable to carry the standard pack.


 The kit consists of the satellite phone packaged in a Pelican Micro Case:
Size                  19cm x 12.9cm 5.4cm
Weight              720 grams (full weight including phone & battery)

 This package is suitable for those who intend to use the phone for minimal or emergency use only, as the charging units are packaged separately. Satellite phones are designed to hold their charge when switched off. Typically they will lose a maximum of 5% of charge per month. Standard talk time is 3.2 hours on a fully charged battery, if in doubt it is highly recommended that a second battery is hired. Spare batteries are available  for $1 each per day.

SMS Messages

Your satellite phone is capable of
sending and receiving SMS Messages.
NOTE: non Telstra mobiles may have
difficulty in sending SMS messages
to the satellite phone.

Messagebank

Messagebank is available on request and operates the same as messagesbank on your Next G/GSM mobiles phone. You  have the option of creating your own personalised message if required.

Satellite SIM Only Hire

If you already have a satellite phone and would like to be hire the SIM Only, we can also provide this service. Short or long term hire is available.
